OINTMENT
Papain is a proteolytic enzyme derived from papaya that selectively breaks down necrotic and non-viable tissue, helping clean the wound and promote healthy granulation tissue formation. Urea acts as a keratolytic and hydrating agent that softens hardened tissue, improves moisture retention, and enhances the effectiveness of enzymatic debridement.
The formulation supports removal of slough and dead tissue, helps maintain a moist wound environment, and promotes the natural wound healing process in chronic and difficult-to-heal wounds.
